Qualities of a Good Bar Soap (J3 Soap)

When it comes to making a good bar of soap there are six basic qualities that most soap makers formulate their soap recipe for:

Fragrance – If you’re a people watcher, you’ll have noticed that one of the first things most people do is pick up a bar and stick it under their nose. It’s an essential factor in the do-I-buy-it decision-making process.

Bubbly – this gives the soaps ability to lather

Cleansing – the ability of the soap to trap the dirt and wash it away

Conditioning – the amount of moisture that is left on the skin, clothes, plates or surface.

Creamy – this measures the stability and creaminess of the soap lather

Hardness   Harder soap is generally better. Why? One reason is because a hard, dense bar lasts longer.
